Here is an example email that was sent on a furlough notice reply: "I received my furlough notice 30 May 2013. I request an appointment to make my oral reply. I will also do a written reply. I went to to review the supporting material. The site is difficult to navigate and I could find no information that informed me why I will be furloughed. According to the notice, I am to contact you to review the supporting materials. Until such time as I am able to review the information that was relied on by management to furlough me I request an extension."
